The island of Ischia allows you to live a wide range of experiences, not necessarily related to sea or spas, relaxation and well-being. Andar per Cantine has become a staple event for tourists (but also for locals) thanks to all the excursions and trekking routes through vineyards, walks and tastings that will lead you to discover the rural island and its traditions.
Vineyards overlooking the sea, ancient mule tracks, terraces and dry-stone walls, historic millstones and wineries dug into the green tuff: this is the true rural side of Ischia, where viticulture challenges daring slopes, a truly heroic practice.
Guided tours, locations, stories and protagonists of Ischia viticulture are waiting for you. An amazing opportunity to meet historic producers and small local winemakers, to learn about the native vines - Biancolella, Forastera and Per'e Palummo - and to experience the beauty of breathtaking landscapes and corners little known to the general public.
The event offers a series of guided tours that combine discovery of the area, hiking and tastings: each one offers three food and wine stops in as many wineries.
Reservations are mandatory for all "Andar per Cantine & Sentieri" tours, departure from Piazza San Leonardo in Panza (the price includes shuttle, guided tour of wineries and tasting).
